三三昧

([lang id =1028]三三昧地) The three samādhis, or the samādhi on three subjects; [lang id =1028]三三摩 ([lang id =1028]三三摩地); [lang id =1028]三定, [lang id =1028]三等持; [lang id =1028]三空; [lang id =1028]三治; [lang id =1028]三解脫門; [lang id =1028]三重三昧; [lang id =1028]三重等持. There are two forms of such meditation, that of [lang id =1028]有漏 reincarnational, or temporal, called [lang id =1028]三三昧; and that of [lang id =1028]無 [lang id =1028]漏 liberation, or nirvāṇa, called [lang id =1028]三解脫. The three subjects and objects of the meditation are

(1) [lang id =1028]空 to empty the mind of the ideas of me and mine and suffering, which are unreal;

(2) [lang id =1028]無相to get rid of the idea of form, or externals, i.e. the [lang id =1028]十相 which are the five senses, and male and female, and the three [lang id =1028]有;

(3) [lang id =1028]無願 to get rid of all wish or desire, also termed[lang id =1028]無作 and [lang id =1028]無起. A more advanced meditation is called the Double Three Samādhi [lang id =1028]重三三昧 in which each term is doubled [lang id =1028]空空, [lang id =1028]無相無相, [lang id =1028]無願無願. The esoteric sect has also a group of its own.

◆﹝出法界次第﹞ 梵語三昧， 華言正定， 亦云正心行處。 謂眾生之心， 從無始已來， 常不正直， 得是三昧， 心行正直， 故名三昧。 〔一、 有覺有觀三昧〕， 謂初心在禪曰覺， 細心分別禪味曰觀。 以空、 無相、 無作相應心入於初禪， 則一切覺、 觀皆悉正直， 故名有覺有觀三昧。 （空、 無相、 無作， 即三解脫門也。 ） 〔二、 無覺有觀三昧〕， 謂以空、 無相、 無作相應心將入二禪之時， 覺知之心已亡， 分別禪味之念猶在。 一切定觀皆悉正直， 故名無覺有觀三昧。 〔三、 無覺無觀三昧〕， 謂以空、 無相、 無作相應心入於三禪乃至滅受想定時， 覺知之心、 分別禪味之念俱亡， 故名無覺無觀三昧。 ◆﹝出成實論﹞ 〔一、 分修三昧〕， 謂定、 慧二分， 隨修一分也。 或修定不修慧， 或修慧不修定， 是名分修三昧。 （梵語三昧， 華言調直定， 亦名正定、 正受。 ） 〔二、 共修三昧〕， 謂修定亦兼修慧， 修慧亦兼修定， 是名共修三昧。 〔三、 聖正三昧〕， 自初果須陀洹已去， 聖位所修， 名為聖正。 謂以定修心， 因慧能破煩惱； 以慧修心， 因定能破煩惱。 定慧一時具足， 故名聖正三昧。 （梵語須陀洹， 華言預流。 ）

三種的三昧、 即空三昧、 無相三昧、 無願三昧。 三昧是定的意思。 空三昧是觀察世間的一切法都是緣生的， 也都是虛妄不實的； 無相三昧是觀察世間的一切形相都是虛妄假有； 無願三昧又名無作三昧， 即觀一切法幻有， 而無所願求。
